Thinking without Borders
Following successful events in Duns to celebrate the life and works of the philosopher and theologian John Duns Scotus (c.1266-1308) and in Chirnside to honour the Scottish Enlightenment philosopher David Hume (1711-1776), there is a plan to set up a group to focus on Enlightenment philosophers and thinkers from the Scottish Borders and from Berwickshire in particular.
